Kimberly Jones - voice, piano

Soprano Kimberly Jones is a distinguished alumna of the Lyric Opera of Chicago’s Ryan Opera Center with performances that include Margru in the world premiere of Amistad (released on New World Records), Olga in Fedora, Xenia in Boris Godunov, and Despina in Cosi fan tutte.

Internationally she has graced the stages of La Scala (Milan), the Bastille and Chatelet (Paris), the Bunkamura (Tokyo), Orchestra della Toscana (Florence), and the Gewandhaus (Leipzig). National concert appearances include performances at Avery Fisher Hall, New York; Ravinia, Symphony Center, Millennium Park, Mandel Hall, and Preston Bradley Hall, Chicago.

Additional performances include appearances with San Francisco Opera, Portland Opera, San Diego Opera, Dallas Opera, and Houston Grand Opera, among others. She has received multiple grants from the MacAllister competition, a grant from the George London Foundation, and was the recipient of the Union League's first-prize award. She was also awarded the Shoshana Grant from the Lyric Opera of Chicago. She has recently joined with fellow sopranos Leila Bowie and Marisa Buchheit, forming the soprano trio group, called simply, "Tres Belle". One of Kimberly's favorite past times is periodically singing the National Anthem for the fabulous Chicago Bulls! Kimberly is on the voice faculty at Columbia College and Merit School of Music.
