Terra Jazz Project is a collaboration among our school's instructors who are currently active in the Chicago jazz scene. While the line-up may vary at any given show, you're always in for a treat. We play straight-ahead jazz, funk, fusion, afro-cuban, and other styles, with each member contributing his or her own unique flavors. Several of the group's members regularly play in projects that involve pop, rock, hip-hop, electronic music, and a variety of ethnic genres, bringing a wide spectrum of sonic possibilities to each Terra Jazz performance. The ensemble often invites distinguished guest musicians.
